Beginning investor. Serious about learning more about investing in real estate using a buy and hold strategy. Experience: Bought my first property in 1989, a 1/1 with a 2/1 duplex on same lot. Did pretty good as the duplex paid the mortgage. Sold the property and bought a personal residence and ended up sitting on the sidelines for 22 years. I am now looking to expand and own multi family properties. Real Estate Goals: My goal is to aquire 4 multi family units in my first year and to double that number each year to achieve financial independence using a buy and hold strategy.
