I am new to real estate investing, my family has a lot of experience in it but I decided to go another career route. I am currently a property and casualty insurance underwriter in NYC and have been successful doing so over the last 5 years. I write a lot of insurance on real estate investment properties, both for the physical buildings and the construction portion. I've learned a lot through the insurance side and it's definitely helped get my start.
