I want to use my VA home loan to buy SFH 3b/1b and class B/C multifamily units duplex, triplex, and quadplex. I am interested mostly in partnering on deals, buy&hold, and the BRRR strategy. I am also interested in 1031 exchanges though currently I don't know much about them. I would also like to learn to use leverage, equity, and other people's money better. My current plan is to use the VA loan to buy rental property and once the property is paid take a HELOC and another va loan then use that to buy 2 properties and so on. I would like to stay in the Huntsville-metro area to start and then as I gain experience branch out to other areas. I am a Army veteran who started a company recently nommaddsoap.com. I am looking to grow my company large enough to buy property in my umbrella company NoMMAdd LLC. My company stands for No Man Made Additives and I started by making all natural soap for a friend in my unit who had psoriasis. After getting out I didn't do anything with this skill until recently and began selling it at flea and farmers markets. I still sell at those venues but now I contract manufacture my soaps and pay crafters per loaf to use my recipe.
