I'm 33 years old, happily married, and have two beautiful daughters. I am a trauma nurse full time and love caring for people. I don't own any properties, yet, but have an awesome plan for the future. The reason I want to start investing in rental properties is because I don't want to rely only on my 401. I believe the best way is to have several rental properties. I also want to be able to give each of my daughters a rental property as a wedding gift. Each property will also assist in funding their education and wedding. I also want to have a few places for my parents and wife's parents in case they need a place to live at no cost. The main reason I would like to get into real estate investing is to be at a point, financialy, where I can fund missionary work that I would like to do in the USA and abroad. I would love to have a few houses that I can use to assist single moms and dads in attaining a degree. I would ask them to only pay the insurance and taxes, while in school. I would also love to be able to save enough to buy and renovate old, inexpensive houses for families in need. This is only one idea, but I have many more. I am very excited about the entire experience. I know God will bless me and lead me to the right paths. I am very eager to learn from everyone. Thanks.
