Hi everybody! I'm located in the Jacksonville, FL South Side area. I've been here for 8 yrs now. I made the move from the D.C. area when I could no longer take the traffic. I was in the IT industry for 10 years but wanted to try something different. I made a career change to finance, got my series 7 and 66. Dealing with the stock market I realized how you don't have any control over your investments. With real estate you have more control and is safer in my opinion. My main drive now is to have a more flexible schedule and create a lifestyle so I can spend more time with my wife and baby girl. I got my real estate license to help with finding properties easier. It also provides some income when I work the agent side. I am doing the REI education in parallel since they have a lot of crossover. I am a member of my local REIA which has been a great investment. I have deepened my knowledge greatly there and met some very nice people. Getting around like minded people is one of the best things you can do. It causes you to grow as a person and expand your comfort zone. Hope to grow together with you all.
