Hi everyone. I’m an entrepreneur, investor, real estate agent, director/choreographer, mother and wife. Background: My husband and I had successful careers in the entertainment business, but knowing the fickle nature of our professions led me to seek additional sources of income, back in the early 2000’s. At that point, we had a couple of rentals under our belts, but knew little about the true benefits of them. I got serious about RE investing and purchased 10 properties between 2004-2006. We had 24 doors when the 2008 crash hit. It was a difficult time, but the lessons learned were invaluable. We focused on our entertainment careers for a few years after that and did a couple of major rehab projects (long term holds) on the side. Those properties have been incredible. Timing is everything. My next “side business” was an ecommerce business that did very well. After selling in Dec 2018, I decided to learn more about passive investments- private equity lending, syndications, alternative investments, etc. I LOVE passive investing, but am now looking to scale up our direct ownership investments again. I got my real estate license in 2020, for the benefits as an investor and to help others gain financial freedom through real estate. The Great Recession, Covid, age and experience have informed my personal investment strategies and made me more conservative than some. No matter your risk tolerance, capital preservation and adequate reserves are imperative! Experience: Single family rentals, small multi family, value add, new construction, asset protection, 1031 exchanges, lease options, property management of our own rentals (in and out of state), fix and flips, buy and hold, first trust deed lending, syndications and alternative investments.
