Hello - I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and I've been educating myself about Real Estate investing for years and finally decided to make 2019 the year to jump in. My main strategies are buy and hold or BRRR (mainly BRRR) to purchase one at least one deal in 2019, and two per year after. I'm investing for the long term and appreciate any advice from other BP members! Real Estate Goals: In the short term, I plan to use the BRRR method to acquire 1-4 properties to prove the model and my ability to manage a transaction. Mid-term, raise funds from friends and family to acquire small apartments (8-30 units) and then syndicate larger multifamily deals. Long-term, become financially free and fund retirement before exploring other asset classes. Update June 2020: I have 4 properties and my goal is 20 total units bu the end of 2021.
