Hi folks! I'm just under a year into my real estate journey, and things are really starting to pick up! In less than a year, I have gone from 0 to 7 units here in Chicago. The lessons I've learned along the way have been essential to my development and education and I couldn't be happier to be pursuing my dreams in REI! Currently I am focusing on potential value-add 3-4 unit properties on the North/Northwest side of Chicago. Experience: Closed my first deal in September of 2017 and almost complete with rehabbing and stabilizing. Second house came in July of 2018. Real Estate Goals: TO GROW! Originally I had stated this goal at 2 houses in 5 years. Now I have those 2 houses in less than one year! Over the next 5 years, I will expand my real estate portfolio to hit my cash flow target of matching my full-time income with passive cash flow.
