Hello! I’m Troy from sunny Phoenix, Arizona. I got my start in real estate when I bought my first home my first home in Pennsylvania back in 2009. I kept the property as a rental after moving here to Phoenix 13 years ago. Things went great for a while—solid cash flow and awesome tax perks—but during the pandemic, rental income dropped, it became difficult to manage the property from out of state, I eventually sold the property when market values started to spike. I miss the cash flow and tax benefits and am ready to find real-estate investment opportunities! I’m looking to connect with other investors, share ideas, and learn what strategies are working today. I’m exploring a few options—buying a long-term rental property, house-hacking a new primary (maybe a multi-family) and rent out my current property, or even try short-term rentals for potential higher cash flow and tax benefits. Excited to learn from this community and getting into the real-estate investing game.
