I started wholesaling in late 2012 and wholesaled over 30 houses, mostly within one group of investors in Chicago that were/are very active, before I acquired my first rental in 2015 (wholesales not included below). I bought, fixed, and refinanced a handful of rentals after that before I started focusing on flips in 2017. Between 2017 and 2021 I completed about a dozen flips, but lately I've been looking for better opportunities to invest in properties outside of Chicago and have found a couple areas in another state with a lot of potential that I am happy to share with anyone interested in discussing them further.
