I am a medical sales rep for a Fortune 500 company and I am fortunate to call Missoula, MT my home. Although I am fully employed, I am seeking to gain passive income to supplement my W2 earnings through real estate investing. I currently own one 4-unit apartment building in Missoula in addition to my primary residence. I am open to all types of investing right now as I learn more about the opportunities that exist, but I would eventually like to identify one or two sub-specialities in one or two markets upon which to focus my efforts. Right now, small multiplexes (4-8 units) with historic character and unique, short term rentals in good condition are most appealing to me. I grew up in Nashville and have lived, worked, and gone to school in the following cities: St. Louis, Salt Lake City, New York, Boston, Seattle, and now Missoula, MT. Each of those places has a special place in my heart, but I am hoping that Missoula will hold the final position on the list of places I've lived. I have degrees in biomedical engineering (BS), nutritional biochemistry (MS), and business administration (MBA). Outside of work I enjoy trail running, hiking, playing soccer, skiing (every type), mountain biking, photography, occasionally brewing beer, and projecting around the house.
