I invest primarily in Jersey City, NJ, NY and in the Lehigh Valley, PA (some multi-family, retail, office, flex space, industrial, parking lots and also invested in tax liens). Also have worked on some developments such as office to multi-family conversion. My academic background was in engineering and finance. I got interested in real estate because of the entrepreneurial aspect of it, also I feel real estate provides more control than other asset classes. I used to work in RE development and quantitative finance. I'm also interested in the subject of urban planning and the people/neighborhood aspects of real estate.
