Originally from one of the most remote parts of the world, Ale’s early experiences instilled in him a deep appreciation for trust, resilience, and the quiet power of community. These values continue to shape how he leads—by showing up, listening carefully, and building connection over time.
Outside of his operational roles, Ale is an active startup advisor and angel investor, working closely with fellow entrepreneurs to help them scale their ventures—often during the “second shift” hours after his day job and the bedtime routines of his three young children. He brings empathy, clarity, and a collaborative spirit to every challenge he tackles.

Aaron Sallade is the Chief Financial Officer at BiggerPockets. He is a seasoned finance, strategy, and operations leader with over 15 years of experience in enabling value creation. Before joining BiggerPockets, Aaron led multiple strategic initiatives and category expansion opportunities at HomeAdvisor. Prior to this role, he held various positions in corporate finance, private equity, and investment banking. He is also an Army veteran who served in both Bosnia–Herzegovina and Afghanistan. Outside of work, he owns a small portfolio of investment properties and enjoys time with his wife and four kids.

Lindsey Buxton is the Sr. Director of Marketing at BiggerPockets. For over a decade, she has been involved in brand, product marketing, and go-to-market campaign planning for startups to Fortune 250 companies. Lindsey lives in Denver with her husband, two daughters, and rambunctious dog.

Katie is the Head of Content at BiggerPockets. As an active investor in real estate with 16 units herself, Katie's passion lies in connecting readers with authors and their expertise to help ordinary people achieve true financial freedom through real estate. Since leading the team in 2017, Katie has grown the BiggerPockets catalog to almost 40 books, won numerous prestigious awards, including the Robert Bruss NAREE and Foreword INDIES awards, and hit #2 on the Wall Street Journal bestsellers list. Outside of work, Katie enjoys managing her short-term rental portfolio of beachside properties, traveling with her family, and skiing. She also currently volunteers on the Editorial Board of Directors for the Independent Book Publisher's Association.
