Testing My Real Estate Theory - Setting the Stage

Mike (my husband) and I moved into our in July of 2008.  It was about two weeks from our first wedding anniversary.  We bought this new house that had wonderful potential.  First and foremost, it was in an incredible neighborhood with a neighborhood pool and kids walking, running and riding their bikes down the middle of the street.  It was in the perfect location for us.  The house itself needed considerable love and attention.  We sold our two-family home in Maynard, moved in with my parents (for what we thought would be 2 months and actually turned into 6 months) and started renovating our new Boston area home.

We were two weeks into the renovations when we found out I was pregnant.  I was now removed from the renovation process, although I tried to peel through the layers and layers of wall paper.  Another week passed and not only was I pregnant, but I was expecting twins!  In January 2009, Mike and I officially moved in, although it wasn't 100% ready for us to be in.  March 13, 2009 came along and Ella and Logan were born.

With Ella and Logan about to turn two and with all of their toys, my office, Mike's office and common guests that stay with us, we have now decided to make a move to another Boston area home.  More or less, we are all caught up in the last 2.5 years.

Tune in tomorrow for more of my journey...
