We're sorting out details for an event in mid April in Denver (Tenatively the week of April 8), but nothing is set in stone yet. As soon as it is, I'll be sure to let everyone know! Please give me a little more patience.

No, it isn't the best week, given tax season, but Denver is booked solid in 2013.

I thought real estate investors filed their taxes on October 15. At least that what my CPA says. ; )

You haven't missed it, Lynda. We haven't announced it.

Jump in and play a little with us here on the site when you can . . . I'm glad you're a fan of the summit, but the networking and learning that happens daily on BP is comparable to what we did in Denver in 2012.

That said, I hope we should have an announcement of some sort in the coming weeks.

We're aiming for the fall at the moment.

As for your question about my comments, people find new partners and do deals every day as a result of BiggerPockets -- they also educate themselves by reading the site. That's what I meant by "comparable" Kelvin. That said, no matter what, there's always something great about meeting your peers in person and listening to someone teach you live.

People can certainly save the expense of our live events if they want -- we don't put the pressure on like most in the business. If you see value in an event where many of your favorite successful BP members can teach you live, and are there for personal networking and interacting, then it is worth going to. If you don't, you can keep spending time here on the site without going and do just fine too.

I hope that makes sense.

Kelvin K. After hearing about the last summit I know everyone is anxious for the next one, and Josh is working on it. In the meantime, maybe you can find other BPers in your area and have a get together. I know they do that in other areas, such as Austin, Las Vegas, etc., and we're thinking of doing one for So Cal BP members too.

I'd love to see a SoCal BP Summit :)
