To those whom are currently collecting their own rents and not using a property manager. Let's say you collect on the 1st of the month. What do you do when you are on vacation/out of town?
For my one rental my sister direct deposits for me, but honestly anyone could they just need the account number and a deposit slip to put it in.
I rent in CA and here I just mail my LL a check. They met me to sign papers and other than the first month when I couldn't find where I wrote the address down(it's in my phone now) they never even hear from me check just shows up usually 2-3 days prior to the 1st.

I just happened to come across your post and wanted to give you an idea. Look up a local Virtual Assistant, they can provide you with support at those times when you need a hand. As a VA, I run errands, handle banking, and of course, many other functions for my clients. Good Luck!
I just started providing a bank account number to some of my tenants so I don't have to deal with their payments. They can just deposit it directly into my account at any branch.
