Don't watch much sitcoms these days more into the action/sci fi stuff.
Jackie Gleason and the "Honeymooners". Grew up on that stuff. Came on Saturday nights at 7pm. (circa 1957-62).
Cast:
Jackie Gleason (Ralph)
Art Carney (Norton)
Sheila McCray (Ralphs' wife)
Jane Keane (Norton's wife)
I miss those days. Life was simple. You could get a Hershey bar for a nickel!
Two and a Half Men.
The best, most poorly marketed, show out there.

Who can forget CHEERS or MASH or WKRP or FRASIER or TAXI or... man, the list goes on.
I'm just a sucker for anything well-written that makes me want to spend some time with the characters.
God bless the inventor of TIVO......
BUT WHAT'S MISSING he said with hops-induced inspiration --
-- Is a well-written sit-com totally based on REAL ESTATE!
Somebody call my agent! Somebody call Eddie Ziv! Somebody set up a meeting!....
I'm a sci-fi buff, but for laughs its Becker.

I was doing my morning treadmill to the farce No Te Rajes, Anita, but it turned into a boring melodrama, so now I am watching old reruns of The Cosby Show. That is seriously funny.
I try to get to the TV to watch As Time Goes By. That's an old rerun, too. I love the dry humor.
Burn Notice is a long ways from being a comedy, but it has some of the best laughs and funniest moments in it. You have to know the characters and the story line to understand why the humor is funny.
