Tub, Large Shower, or Tub/shower

I was wondering what buyers prefer in Master bathrooms.

A large tile walk-in shower with frameless door

A jacuzzi tub with no shower

A garden tub with a shower in it

A jacuzzi tub with a shower in it

The other bath has a basic shower tub combination.

We're in Florida if there's a regional difference.

@Wendy Vaidic

I don't know if there's a regional difference, but I would definitely say a large tile walk in shower. It's also going to depend on what you plan to sell the house for and if it fits in your rehab budget. We're working on a flip right now and will be doing a large tile walk in shower with double shower heads. However, we are looking at an ARV of 400k. If it was sub 200k, we'd probably be thinking differently.

Good luck!

As a buyer, my master bath preference would be a large tile walk-in shower; provided the 2nd bathroom had a tub/shower combo.

As @Andrew Davis stated, I think it would ultimately depend on the ARV ....

From a husbands point of view. Happy wife happy life right. So I would say garden tub w/ shower or if you have room for garden and several shower then cool. My wife every now and again locks herself in the bathroom and soaks for an hour. Just my thoughts.

The only option I would say is a no go is a tub , no shower.   Given the space I would say separate tub and shower but  I gather you don't have the space so I would say Jacuzzi tub with shower has the broadest appeal you satisfy the tub and shower crowd.

@Wendy Vaidic,

If you install a shower, I would suggest that you include a "body spray."

I'm know of a few people that Install that type of shower, and they claim, that it helps sell the Property.

I imagine that buyers would like one of each - but I think they would best settle for # 1. and # 4 - if the bathroom is suitable / sizable for them both.  Florida developers seem to favor a # 1 / # 2 configuration though - at least in the 200-300K range.
