What is the best type of roof cleaner?- Curb Appeal
What is the best roof cleaner product or product to remove dark stains on a middle aged roof? I am trying to enhance curb appeal without completely replacing the roof. Thanks!

Yeah, this doesn't work well for an asphalt-shingled roof. I've heard of guys getting up there with a brush and a bleach solution, but it's usually for something like a patch of moss.

Trisodium Phosphate (TSP) that you buy at the big box stores will work. You can Google the method. Be careful on a wet roof though.
