Don’t let anyone tell you a FLIPPING LIE!

Get rich quick while sitting on the beach! This is the biggest lie in real estate investing. Perhaps you attended a seminar where they told you it was easy to make a ton of money flipping homes. IT IS NOT EASY!  involves sourcing deals, negotiating offers, finding contractors, selecting finishes and materials, supervising the progress of your jobs and going through stacks of invoices. Maybe you can go to Oak Street Beach at twilight after a long day of running around to your projects, but you certainly aren’t going to become a beach bum for quite a while.

Just like everything in life, success takes work. Our most successful investors work full days and visit their jobsites at least a few times a week. Having a great team and  can make your life easier, but it won’t make it easy. You can make a good living and build substantial wealth investing in real estate, but it will take time, effort and perseverance. Don’t let anyone tell you a FLIPPING LIE!
