Brent and his team are the real deal! If you need a loan for your project then they are the perfect fit. I have done many loans with them over the years and they are very fair and easy to work with. I would recommend them time and time again.

I have known Brent for over 15 years even before he was in the lending business, he is stand up guy and a straight shooter. I have also borrowed multiple millions of dollars from his lending business; if you have a solid deal and need funding fast without jumping through the normal lender hoops like the national box brands require, please contact him.

CR Lending knows the investor side of this business as well as anyone in DFW. Every conversation I’ve had with them about deal structure, ARV, and what makes a flip actually pencil has been straight and genuinely useful — no runaround, no wasted time. If you’re looking at hard money in this market, they’re worth a call.

As a real estate investor there are few relationships that are more important than having a great lender. CR Lending has allowed me to expand my operations in ways I do not believe I could have without their support. Given their experience I rely upon them for advice and guidance when creative solutions are needed. They are always quick to respond and happy to help. The process is always smooth and the terms are fair. Great team all around.

DO NOT USE! If you think you're going to get a 100% financed loan for fix and flip that statement is highly misrepresented. The house was $135K for the purchase of the house the total loan amount was $170K rehab cost $48,824.37K were placed into escrow, the total CR Lending loan charges were $62,259.96 that means $13,435.59 were CR Lending Fees and I basically funded the majority of the rehab cost, closing cost were $2,002.76. They charged me prepaid interest of $1,725.21 The total I had to come up with at closing was $26,768.85 this maths doesn't math up at this point, the way they explained it to me was I was going to pay the $26K and that was part of the money I was borrowing to rehab so I had to pay part of the money I was borrowing out of the $48K, then when I ask for a draw they say oh no no you have to pay first and then we will reimburse you after you completed a part of the rehab, so basically I just paid $26K to then have to fund my own rehab again! and then get reimbursed later, this was my first fix and flip and honestly I think it is completely predatory, on paper it looks like they are giving you money but the fact is you are actually giving them money to give you back what you just gave them so they do not come out of pocket on anything except the purchase price and less than half of the rehab cost. Then they collect the tax money dont pay it and again make you pay again directly to the tax assessor and then they will give you your own money back. This does get worse. So I obviously had already prepaid my first payment and my second payment rolls around and I paid $1,800 then CR Lending tells me that I have to pay the taxes with my monthly payment so my monthly payment is $2000.05, me thinking ok like every other lender out there they are going to pay the taxes at the end of the year like normal NOOOOOOO they didn't pay it they required me to pay ALL the taxes and then I would be reimbursed once all the taxes are paid, at this point the title company was like WHAT?!, the Mortgage Broker said the same thing WHAT?! This is not legal a hard money lender can not collect funds and then turn around and not pay them. CR Lending told me they were in an escrow account come to find out I verified with the title company they never set up an escrow so they have just been holding money in their own account which to me is highly sketchy. Now they are trying to foreclose the property, I had some misfortunate events happen my dad passed away and when I left out of town the house got robbed and all my tools and materials including the refrigerator and stove were stolen, had I not had to pay the additional fees for taxes which they told me were in escrow I could have recovered from that event a lot sooner. I am now in the processes of filing a complaint with CFBP since they stated to me they have always collected taxes and not paid them which is completely illegal under the Real Estate Settlement Procedure Act. I am now forced to hire an Attoney since they do not acknowledge their illegal activity. I also have to sue them for damages for not paying the taxes in a timely manner. Basically if you get a loan from them you're basically just getting the loan for the house and the rehab you're going to have to pretty much front all on your own and pay them more on top of that. I wish my experience would have been a lot better with them however they are a very complicated company to work with, I was told they are not the first choice when seeking out a hard money loan there are a lot better ones out there, this was my first so I really didn't understand how predatory this lender would be, I thought I was going to flip homes with them forever but no so don't make my mistake USE SOMEONE ELSE! NO STARS FOR CR LENDING!
