I haven’t rented or viewed the property yet but by the phone conversation I just had, I don’t think it’s going to be a good fit. I inquired on Zillow about a property. The email said go over the qualifications, drive by the property, then call to schedule an appointment. So that’s why I did. When the gentlemen answered the phone, all he said was good morning….i was like ooohhh uh good morning I’m calling about such and such property. He’s like “yea…..” I’m like ooohhh okay. Can I please schedule a showing? Then he starts asking me a bunch of questions like did you drive by the property, did you read the qualifications? I’m like yes then he starts quizzing me on the damn qualifications!!! Like what?!?! I just wanna make an appointment to see the property! What’s the big deal?!?! So rude and weird. Don’t give your number and say to call it to make an appointment if you’re gonna be bothered when people do! Keep the damn property. SMH.

I rented duplex through Huston Associate for 5 years. Professional and compassionate about his renters (clients). I highly recommend this to anyone.

Alicia and Norbert were so friendly and helpful from the moment I walked into their office! I’m really looking forward to having them as my new property managers!?

We got super lucky, we were going for a open hous tour with many applicants, It was super small but we had a chat with Norbert (you need to understand his humor and way of talking) anyways we explained our situation and we werent qualified for that house but he gave us a soon to be duplex which was even better and our price range! Thank you will want to go back again, we have a bigger family soon so we don't know if he'll have any available housing soon for us to look for.

Norbert managed several properties for me for many years. He keeps his owners updated on new regulations. As he is a one-man shop, he is probably less well known than some of the larger property management around town, but I saw this as an advantage as he is very knowledgable and responsive. For anyone seeking new property management in Stockton, I would recommend Norbert.

Everytime I called and if I had a question or concern Norburt and Sandy addressed it and did everything they could to solve the issue right away. They are professional and courteous. I have never had any problems working with Huston Associates for all these years . They have been amazing and attentive every time. My family and I would definitely recommend to check their website or give them a call if you're looking for rentals in the area. Where can I begin? If you're looking for a professional property management company to rent from, Huston & Associates is it. I was recently approved for a rental property and the entire process was seamless. Norbert was quick to respond to my emails and answered all questions I had. He didn't leave me hanging for days or weeks at a time like other property management companies do. Norbert was even able to accommodate my request to move in sooner, which I appreciate from the bottom of my heart. He even had a housewarming gift for my family, which was so thoughtful. I'm so glad I found this gem and I'm honored to be doing business with Huston Associates.

Mr Norbert requested I paid $525 for a bathtub hairline crack! I smelled fraud, and I opted take care of the repair myself. My husband used to be a contractor and I personally have worked directly with handy men and contractors in the past when I was involved in real estate flipping. And so I am quite conversant when it comes to home remodeling/ repairs. At the time the tenant put in a request for the repairs, I was very ill and could not tend to the repairs immediately, which has never been the case, as I have always ensured that matters concerning repairs are taking care of pronto... of which I have sufficient proof. Mr Norbert on the other hand even wished me a quick recovery, days later he terminated our contract. I guess he found out I’m not one to be messed with. I will take you straight to court for trying to hamper any business venture I embark upon. Especially if property managers like himself try to dupe property owners through repairs. However prior to his termination, I explained to Mr Norbert to give me time to recover but I wasn’t going to pay $525 to repair a hairline crack, no way! At this moment I’m very thankful that Norbert cancelled our contract because I won’t have retained him any longer especially after finding out his little antics. My husband and I have been able to fix the bathtub, and all we spent on materials was nothing more than $25. Of which we used a sealant to cover up the crack. No more leaks after that. Upon checking The Home Depot for the current price on bathtubs, we found out the most expensive bathtub is around $300, Norbertwas asking for more than $500 to fix a hairline crack! Now isn’t that a real rip off Norbert! I have since taken over the management of the unit! Good luck hiring Norbert and his team! If you do hire him, make sure to be hands on!
