Original: Beware of the technology fee that they add on to your rent. We are given no technology perks in our rental except for an app. So you pay a monthly percent of your rent for app use. No smart locks, no electric thermostats, no cameras, no internet. Update #1: We have rented the same property for 2 years and have been loyal renters, it wasn't until True Door took over property management that we started seeing additional fees. Update #2: To make matters even worse they also charge a Annual Lease Renewal fee. True Door feels like a scam with all of their fees. I miss having Integrity Place Realty and PM Co. We were also never notified that our rental was being taking over by TrueDoor. Update #3: I've now started receiving emails from TrueDoor prompting me to sign up for monthly subscriptions. I did not authorize my personal information to be shared with them, and this is concerning. Update #4: We were told by Truedoor that the owner would stop by and clear out a storage shed for us today, owner never showed up on the day specified and no one from Truedoor ever contacted us to give us any kind of update. Update #5: Owner finally showed up to pick up their items, but not when TrueDoor specified. I had to let owner in but TrueDoor has no idea whats going on, and they are supposed to be setting these things up. I spoke with the Owner and their experience with TrueDoor has also been negative. Update #6: we had a maintenance request put in but we as the tenants were requested to call the maintenance company ourselves. When we called the maintenance company they thought I was property managment and were confused where I had gotten their number. First of all I shouldn't be the one contacting maintenance, i thought thats why we paid your dumb monthly fee. Now even with paying your dumb monthly fee true door wants me to do their job for them. We finally had someone show up but no one ever confirmed the appointment with me.

My wife and I had the opportunity to work with Bryson Wolters. Bryson was attentive to our needs and inspired confidence that he would find someone to rent out our place. My wife and I ended up going in a different direction, however, we’d work with Bryson again without hesitation if given the chance.

I just moved in today, and I have to say the experience has been amazing from start to finish. Joseph and Crystal were incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the whole process. Moving can be stressful, but they made everything feel smooth and welcoming. They answered all my questions, made sure I understood everything, and genuinely cared about making my move-in easy. I’m really grateful for their support and professionalism. So far, I couldn’t be happier with my experience here.

We rented a home from True Door for 2 years. It seemed fine until our AC broke, we reported it, never heard from them. For a month in the middle of August dying from heat. We had to pay for the repair ourself and take it out of the rent because no one would get back to us. Then when we moved out, we paid a professional cleaner to clean the house then received a $1,600 bill taken from our deposit for cleaning!!!! They said the house was not cleaned and itemized every tiny detail and charged outrageous prices totaling $1,600 who in the world charges that much for a cleaning?! After we paid $400 for a cleaning company to clean the home. How it looked when we left… look at the pictures. It was clean! Beware when you move out this company is dishonest and gouges you to keep the deposit money!

He is professional and very courteous in explaining how he inspects the property to stay in compliance with California Health and Safety Codes. His periodic evaluation walk through was done in a timely manner and answered all my questions.
