I was looking for a management company to manage a few of our rental properties that we own in Orange County, CA. I spoke with Brian Talley---Business Development and on boarding representative for new clients in the Orange County, CA area on March 26. He promised he would send me information. I left a few messages with him to remind him. CRICKETS. Extremely disappointed. Hence, if this is an example of how Marshall Reddick Real Estate does business, not interested.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize and commend Nic for the outstanding job he did in successfully leasing all four units. When I was starting to lose hope and becoming concerned about the rental market in Sylmar with zero showings, Nic stepped in and turned the situation around with confidence and decisive action. From start to finish, his communication was superb. He consistently kept me informed through both email and phone, ensuring I was always up to date on activity, feedback, and next steps. He was readily accessible whenever I needed to connect, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. What I appreciated most was his professionalism and judgment. Whenever a decision needed to be made, Nic provided thoughtful, well-reasoned input that genuinely helped guide my decision-making. He worked diligently with every prospect, handled negotiations professionally, and stayed persistent until each unit was secured with qualified tenants in a timely manner. Leasing four units efficiently is no small task, and Nic handled it with focus, responsiveness, and a strong sense of accountability. His work reflects very well on your entire team. I truly look forward to working with Nic again on future projects and leasing assignments. He has earned my confidence and appreciation. Thank you again for the great work. And of course a big thank you goes out to the rest of the team as well. Oscar and Chris you were also a big part in making this go smooth and successful. Appreciate it much gentlemen.

I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Marshall Reddick and their maintenance management team, and I can confidently say they run a tight, professional operation. Angel, Abby, Ernesto, and Richard are organized, responsive, and solution-oriented. Work orders are clearly written, expectations are communicated upfront, and they understand the importance of balancing owner budgets with tenant satisfaction. That combination is not easy to pull off, but their team handles it consistently. What stands out most is their coordination. They follow through, keep vendors informed, and move projects through approvals efficiently. That level of structure makes a real difference when managing multiple properties and timelines. If you’re an investor looking for a property management company that takes maintenance seriously and operates with professionalism, Marshall Reddick and their team are a solid choice.

Marshall Reddick may be the worst management company I have ever used. I own three properties and they have the worst communication I have seen. Their prices, communication, and misleading repair and maintenance quotes are dishonest. I recently had a tenant move in and the repairs they charged me are higher than the ones I was quoted in writing. The communication with the account manager is non-existent. The quotes they give you are ridiculous and you have to ask for more than one quote (which they should be doing on their own). They usually say “this is the company we use and they are the best.” I would then have to contact contractors on my own to service my repairs needed. Shame on me for staying with them for so long and I will be seeking other management services. Avoid them at all costs! The worst!

Cameron sold our condo in Orange and it was a great transaction from start to finish. We got an offer after the first week, and the process was smooth and professional the whole way through. He worked closely with his co-agent Angela, and their communication was excellent. We’d recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell.

I have worked with Marshall Reddick for the last year and a half, using them as a hard money lender for several fix and flip purchases. I love working with them because they have always handled my transactions quickly and efficiently. Sam and Levi are always prompt to respond to my emails and calls and are both very professional and kind with answering any questions I may have. Their outstanding service makes them easy to work with. I highly recommend Marshall Reddick Real Estate for any hard money lending needs you may need.

Avoid Marshall Reddick – Deceitful and Untrustworthy Business Practices As a small landlord, I strongly urge others to stay away from Marshall Reddick. At first glance, their services might seem appealing, but their contract is full of predatory fine print designed to trap you long after your agreement should be over. We signed a one-year contract with them, and while our experience was far from stellar — delayed responses (often taking a week to reply to emails), constant miscellaneous charges, contractors who did subpar work, and it taking several months to rent out just one unit — we still tried to part ways amicably at the end of our year. However, they enforced a termination clause that is incredibly deceitful. Even after fulfilling our year-long agreement and giving 30 days’ notice, they slapped us with a $4,951 termination fee. Why? Because of a hidden clause that ties the termination fee to the greater of the remaining term of either the lease or the management agreement — whichever is longer. So, if your tenant’s lease doesn’t align with your management contract (which is almost always the case when managing multiple units), you’re stuck in a never-ending loop, forced to continue or pay up. In short: they make it nearly impossible to leave without paying a massive penalty, even after your contract ends. Save yourself the stress, time, and thousands of dollars. There are better, more honest property management companies out there. Do not use Marshall Reddick. They are not landlord-friendly, and certainly not trustworthy.

Marshall Reddick Real Estate deserves 5 stars for their outstanding service, particularly through their exceptional realtor, Cameron Carlson and Angela Carlson-Davis. They both exceeded all our expectations with his professionalism and responsiveness throughout the entire process. He coordinated fast and affordable vendors to add value to our property and recommended a lender that made our out-of-state purchase seamless. Remarkably, he got our house under contract in just a week and sold it above the asking price. Working with Cameron was incredibly easy, making the entire experience stress-free and successful.
