Was out of town and paying via my phone (where service kept cutting in and out) and accidentally paid my rent three times. One quick phone call - even on Saturday - spoke with Rouselle and she assured me it would all be taken care of. I love that there is always a live representative and Rouselle was courteous and knowledgeable!

I am a property owner who contracted with Renters Warehouse for tenant placement. I worked with Alford and Amanda and they were both great communicators, responsive, and committed to finding a good tenant for my home. I was impressed by their communication and professionalism, so I ended up adding ongoing property management service to pair with my own GC. I am optimistic that they will continue to do a great job and I hope to give them more business as my portfolio in Birmingham expands.

Alford and Amanda made me aware that the buyer backed out and that if i still wanted to rent i could. Al was willing to pay the app fee out his own pocket if i didn’t want to continue the process. he’s a good young man and i truly appreciate his professionalism and his courtesy. Al had to go out of town but i still had a move in date to move in before he would be back. Amanda handled everything with the help of my son. I really appreciate everyone helping this process go so smoothly seeing as how i also had to be out of town on business… communication is key and i really appreciate everyone helping

I would definitely recommend Renters Warehouse from the moment I walked into their offices, explaining what I was looking for they have made me feel secure with going forward with looking for a home for me and my kids. Everything went well smoothly from communication to anything I wanted to have changed or added Alford Norman walk me through every step and was able to make it happen. I would definitely recommend. Renters Warehouse made a dream come true for me and my kids!

I cannot speak highly enough of Alford Norman and the marvelous job he did helping me renovate and sell my rental property. From the beginning, he offered valuable insights into what updates would add the most value, connected me with reliable contractors and helped me manage the renovation process from start to finish. His knowledge of buyer preferences and market trends were spot-on. Once the renovations were complete, he created a top-tier marketing plan——professional photos and strategic pricing. My property was sold for way above what I expected. What really set Alford apart was his commitment, transparency and constant communication. He made what could have been stressful experience feel smooth, efficient and even exciting. I switched to Renter's Warehouse in November 2024 after my previous property manager took too long to fill a vacancy. Alford Norman was my leasing agent, and he was great—found prospective tenants pretty quickly. What stood out was that he didn’t just go with the first applicant. He advised me to hold off because he felt he could find stronger options, and he did. I appreciated that he involved me in the tenant selection process and kept me in the loop throughout.
They also provided a detailed walkthrough report before the tenant moved in, which gave me peace of mind. I did receive a maintenance request for a kitchen leak shortly after move-in—even though the unit had supposedly been rent-ready by the previous manager—so maybe they missed it. There was another minor maintenance request soon after, but nothing major since then. Their maintenance seems to be contracted out, so I get the sense the vendors might try to pick up extra work, but that’s just how it goes sometimes.
Overall, my experience has been good. I’ve been with Renter’s Warehouse for less than a year, but no big surprises so far. As of now, they’ve earned my 5 stars.
