She was willing to help and made me feel very comfortable working with her. She deserves a raise and the best job in the firm!

The property manager was overall great to work with. Whenever we had any repairs needed at the house, they took care of it quickly and coordinated with us well. Isabella was also quick at taking care of a request I had for her. Overall good experience!

We were having difficulty understanding the lease break procedure and clause in our current rental while in the process of buying a home, which naturally felt stressful and overwhelming. Our realtor connected us with Jayson at GoldenWest Management to help answer a few questions from a tenant perspective, and we are incredibly grateful for his support. Even though Jayson is not our property manager, he took the time to walk us through the process, clearly explain our rights as tenants in California, and provide thoughtful, unbiased guidance. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on helping us feel confident and informed during a big life transition. His professionalism and willingness to help, without any obligation, really stood out. It is rare to find someone who is so generous with their time and expertise simply to ensure people understand their options. If this is the level of care he provides to someone who is not even his client, I can only imagine how supportive he is to those he directly works with. We have had such a difficult time with this company. The team member we normally deal with has always been so kind and sincere when listening to our concerns. However, from what it sounds like his hands are tied due to conflicts with upper level management. Beware when renting if this company represents the property.

Hello neighbors, I want to warn you all about renting from Golden West Management here in San Diego. We faced many issues with this management company the year we lived there. The duplex we lived in was not up to code. When we moved in it was not cleaned. The same water bottle that was in the bathroom when we toured the place was still there when we moved in. Even though they said they were getting it cleaned before move in. During our renting of the place, we faced a the kitchen sink leaking and it took way too long for them to address the issue I even had to send 2 requests days apart through there platform before we ever received a response. With that we had black mold growth. Now onto move out. We had many questions regarding their move out procedure. They wanted us to pay for it to be cleaned as well as pay for a whole separate cleaner for the floors and they wanted us to provide receipts. We tried to get in contact with them multiple times as we did find it unfair considering the state they gave it to us in. Which was very dirty. Of course we would clean before leaving but we didn’t think we had to pay for 2 cleaners when they didn’t even pay for 1 on move in. They would not respond to emails and if it did they just resent the same move out procedure they had sent before not addressing our questions and concerns. When we would call the person who answers the phone, Isabella, would always say they were busy and that they would call us back. Which they never did. When we asked Isabella on the phone if they had received our emails they said they had responded but only internally. Like that’s not helpful at all. In the end they never responded to any emails and phone calls and never called us back. Horrible company to work with. Also they will take money out of your security deposit for things the tenants are not liable for. Emailed about this too. Never got a response. Landlord: Mariela BEWARE!!!!

This company is amazing! Especially the workers and Spanish speaking worker, Ana. She is super friendly and patient, which is beneficial when tackling certain situations. Whenever I give her a call, she is super helpful and always responds in a kindly matter, which I greatly appreciate!

I submitted a request on Thanksgiving day and was not expecting to get a response due it being a holiday. I was wrong, Alfonso provided quick and efficient service to my request. He was very friendly and helpful. We appreciate him! Many thanks to Alfonso.
