About us
I’m Gary Nelson, a Branson, MO real estate agent brokered by eXp Realty and an eXp Realty ICON Agent, helping buyers, sellers, and investors make confident moves in the Ozarks. My wife, Stephanie, and I both grew up in West Plains, Missouri, and we’ve been married since 2009. Today, we call Branson home along with our daughter and our golden retriever, Daisy. Before real estate, I spent years chasing another passion: golf. I worked my way through the golf industry, eventually managing several facilities and some of the busiest golf courses in the Midwest. That experience taught me a lot about discipline, service, communication, and how to stay steady under pressure, all things that carry directly into the way I serve my real estate clients today. In 2017, Stephanie and I moved to Branson to focus more intentionally on our own real estate investments. As we learned about the local market, we quickly developed a passion for helping other people do the same, whether they were buying a home, selling a property, searching for a cabin or condo, or evaluating a short-term rental or investment opportunity. My approach is simple: put my clients’ best interests first, give clear guidance, and make sure they understand their options every step of the way. Gary and the team are the best! Contacted him looking for information, he spent a ton of time guiding us and helping us make the right decision. This was probably over the course of a year... he always would answer questions, take calls, etc. no pressure just good honest info.
He made being out of state very easy and super accommodating. Look forward to working with him again and his team.
If you want someone who understands the area, investing, and knowledge call him!

When my mom had to sell her husband’s house in Missouri (she lives in California) which her stepson was living in, it became a complicated situation. After my sister found Gary, he guided us through every step of the sale. Our listing was generating a lot of interest, but when my mom decided to sell to her stepson at a below-market price at his request, Gary helped us understand the numbers and helped us ensure that my stepdad’s wishes were honored in the sale. Family challenges made the process longer and stressful, but Gary supported us the entire way. He educated us with his extensive market knowledge, and assisted us with estate issues and communication on all sides. Gary helped my mom’s step son with his loan approval and closing process, spoke with several of his neighbors to finalize a well agreement, and helped us get to a sale price that would reimburse my mom her estate costs, and ensure a fair inheritance to her other stepson. He helped our family through an emotional and taxing process, and we could not be more grateful for his support in our lives this year. He is an exceptional professional, he helped my mom and her stepson reach their respective goals, and showed incredible patience no matter how complicated the sale became. I recommend Gary to anyone who needs a realtor in their corner, someone who genuinely cares about his clients and about doing the right thing.

Selling our lifetime collection of assets and accomplishments in our business could have been very overwhelming, but Gary, Steph, and their teams expertise in real estate business made a very stressful process, feel stress-free.

Working with Gary was the best decision we could have made. He negotiated our condo well under appraisal, handled every snag with ease, and even went out of his way personally to help us. We had a difficult situation come up with the property we chose and Gary went to great lengths to make our sale happen. We are first time owners of rental property in Branson and he made sure we were educated in the whole process. His short term rental knowledge and local expertise gave us confidence we bought in the right spot for strong returns. Gary is a top notch professional yet very comfortable to work with.
