So let me tell you how I met Randy Buff. Me and my girlfriend were traveling the State of Florida in search of our forever home. After traveling countless miles, we ended up in Bradenton Florida. We met with a realtor and over the next few days she kept sending us listings outside of the area even though I repeatedly told her we want to be in Bradenton. After exhausting my email with listings in cities not even close to the area, we decided to seek the help from another realtor. We were on the pier at Cortez Beach talking to a gentleman who was fishing and we asked him if he knew of a good realtor in the area. He said he did not however another person overheard our conversation and said I highly recommend this one guy, I can't remember his first name right now but his last name is Buff. The only thing we knew about the gentleman who gave us the recommendation was that he was a retired police officer. We ended up Googling realtors in Bradenton with the last name Buff and came up with a phone number for Randy. When I called him I explained to him that he was highly recommended by a gentleman that I have no idea what his name is but told him he was a retired police officer. Randy knew exactly who I was talking about. I spoke with Randy several times about a property that I was interested in purchasing but later decided it was not the property for us. After speaking with Randy several times and inquiring about properties, we finally found one that looked perfect for us. I put an offer on the property and believe me when I say that the negotiations went back and forth several times and I'm sure at some point it must have been a bit frustrating for Randy, I admit I can be difficult. Since I currently live in New York, I needed Randy to be my eyes and ears for this property. I was unfamiliar with the area so he offered to do videos of him driving around the area. He also put me in touch with an attorney, and a housing inspector named Ron Miller who by the way I strongly recommend. About 10 days later, I flew down to Florida and met Randy for the first time. He was very polite, professional, friendly and went above and beyond to help secure this property and closing. To say that I am more than satisfied with Randy's work would be an understatement. Living in New York and owning over 57 rental properties over the course of 30 years, I have dealt with many Realtors and let me assure you that it's very rare to get that type of above and beyond approach in my neck of the woods.
