About us
The Atha Team frequently serves investors looking for LTR’s, STR’s, vacation rentals, and 1031 exchanges while actively engaging in real estate investments themselves. The Atha Team is the brainchild and passion of long-time residents and Montrose Colorado locals, Diana and Ian Atha. After years of hard work and dedication at an independent real estate brokerage in 2006, Diana consequently made the step to Keller Williams in 2012. Since then, she achieved the awarded status of Realtor of the Year in 2013 and hired on her first executive administrator the same year. Partnering with her husband Ian Atha, on business development and marketing, the couple powered to the top of the Montrose Real Estate Industry in only a few short years. After having fun investing in post-recession fix-and-flip properties and completing his business degree in marketing at Colorado Mesa University, Ian transitioned from the back-end side of the business to full-time Listing Real Estate Agent. He is a fourth-generation real estate professional with real estate roots in California and Michigan, and is currently one of the only Seller Representative Specialists through the National Association of Realtors and is also a certified Pricing Strategy Advisor. The couple now runs the Atha Team at Keller Williams Colorado West Realty with passion and success. Their faith plays an integral role in their business conduct, passion for life, and community involvement.

From the very beginning, he took the time to understand our needs and helped us find a home that was the perfect fit for my husband and I.

My husband and I had the pleasure to work with David Thomas with the Atha Team, and we could not have had a better experience. We came to David as a young couple with next to no understanding of what we were about to do. David took the time educate us on each step in a way that took a mountain of a task to an enjoyable pursuit for our first home. I had some fears when starting the process that the phrase "its not your forever home." meant that I would need to settle or lower my expectations greatly. However, David listened and often times kept me from settling or taking on high risk properties that were more work than worth. His diligence and watchful eye on the market found us our dream home. David's dedication to educate us, and work for us was unmatched. The Atha Team was also amazing to work with. The communication we received at each stage with emails, videos, and texts kept us informed on what task needed to be complete and by what deadlines. As a result the maybe six to eight weeks we worked with David and the team was the smoothest transaction I have ever experienced. If you are looking for your first home or forever home David Thomas and the Atha team are the guys you want working for you! We could not be happier!

The Atha team was amazing to work with, and directly responsible for finding the perfect property. Wyatt was kind, hardworking and responsive throughout the process, while providing great options for us to get to know the area and end up with exactly what I wanted. When other realtors didn't take me seriously as a buyer, Wyatt rose above and provided months of support as I researched the area. Brittney was also fantastic to work with through the contract and closing process, ensuring we were prepared for every requirement. Can't recommend enough, as I never would have found my dream property without them!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Evan and the Atha team! Selling our home was smooth sailing and they made the process easy. Questions were answered quickly, everything we needed to do and provide was explained and organized. Evan was friendly, gave us straight answers, and available when we needed to contact him.
