About us
Megan Powell (Starr) is a 5th generation native of the beautiful Grand Junction, Colorado. Her family history gives her a great network and local area knowledge. She has always had an interest in real estate, but her true passion lies in helping other folks realize their dreams… I know, I know, you may think that sounds cheesy, but it’s true! Megan & her husband invest in real estate, own several properties, & also buy & rehab homes to sell. They feel incredibly blessed by the opportunities it has brought them and want to pay it forward with sharing the knowledge. Megan enjoys helping others who have those same dreams achieve them, whether it’s buying their first home, finding their retirement nest, investing in rental property, or just building wealth for retirement or kids college! Megan has a degree in Petroleum Engineering and worked in the oil and gas industry for 14 years before deciding to be a full-time mom. Her passion for home decorating, project management & investments, home improvements, and real estate pushed her to get her real estate license in May of 2018. She did over 13 transactions in her first year, including purchasing several investment properties of her own, two rehab/flips, and helping many amazing clients do the same! Her main goal is to build a life-long relationship that goes far beyond the transaction, it’s a friendship & partnership! Your investment is her business and she takes it to heart. She will listen to your needs and work hard to help you get where you want to go! When not working or looking for the next project, you can find Megan with her family, playing volleyball, golf, hiking, or enjoying a glass of wine at the amazing local wineries the Grand Valley has to offer. Wendy Harrison and Megan Powell did an outstanding job helping us sell our home in Grand Junction. I have known Wendy for many years, and she has been essential in both the buying and selling of my homes in Rifle, CO and Grand Junction, CO.
Our experience was truly turn-key. We were remote for the entire Grand Junction transaction, and Wendy and Megan quarterbacked the deal from start to finish so I did not have to travel back and forth. They nurtured every task, kept the process moving, ensured deadlines were met, and communicated with excellence the entire way.
Real estate can be confusing and overwhelming, but working with Wendy made it feel simple. I trusted her guidance so much that I felt completely comfortable just saying, “yes,” knowing she had everything handled.

Megan has helped me purchase several rental units in the Grand junction area. I will continue to use her while building my portfolio. I very much appreciate her laid-back but extremely knowledgeable style of real estate sales. It's a big decision when buying property and it's largely helpful to me when she doesn't cloud my decision making but acts as a bottomless reference when I ask for info.

Megan is fantastic to work with! She cares for her clients deeply! She spends as much time as clients need finding them the perfect home, even if it takes months and months. She guides them, explains everything to them, represents them in any way needed. Her contracts have won bidding wars numerous times because she knows how to write and fulfill those contracts!
