My personal experience: I purchased and sold my first home in my 20’s. I built my investment portfolio, by "house hacking" my way through condo ownership, and later participated in multiple 1031 exchanges to trade up in value and cash flow. In my leisure time I enjoys all that Oregon has to offer through photography, hiking, paddle boarding, and snowshoeing. After the purchase of our primary home, I stayed in touch with Melissa over the next two years while exploring the idea of buying a rental property. Throughout that time, she was incredibly supportive and consistently shared honest, insightful market guidance. She was always happy to show properties and went the extra mile to help me prepare competitive offers.
In December 2025, thanks to her skillful negotiation, we successfully secured a for-sale-by-owner property. It was truly impressive how Melissa was able to accelerate the entire process, she even covered the HOA document fee out of her own pocket to help expedite the transaction.
Even though there were some hiccups with the lender and I had doubts along the way, Melissa was always on my side and openly shared her honest perspective. I truly appreciated her transparency. It helped me make the final decision by clearly weighing all the pros and cons. It’s rare to find an agent who is this genuine, trustworthy, and straightforward like Melissa!
Overall, Melissa’s professionalism, dedication, and genuine care made what could have been a stressful experience smooth and efficient. I’m extremely grateful for her support and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy real estate agent.

Melissa is hands down the best realtor I ever worked with. If you're interested in investing in residential market in OR, look no further.
- Investor mindset: Melissa is a tenured investor herself and that really shows. She pays high attention to details as of it's her own investment and provides recommendation that maximize your return.
- Experience: She has all the tools necessary for you to run the numbers, provide ball park estimate for early vetting and follow up with detailed comp from her sources.
- Knowledge: Melissa knows the areas in and out. She's a walking wikipedia on the history, the industry, the demographic and most importantly the investment opportunity in all the different neighborhood.
ABOVE and BEYOND - What really stands out is how thoughtful and proactive she is. She's constantly one step ahead of me as if she knows my thought. A few examples:
- She reached out to multiple roofing company for bids after seeing the inspection report without me having to ask. The quote got us substantial price deduction.
- She coordinated with property managers on the ground ( I'm out of state ) to make sure everything lines up so I can turn this around fast.
- She proactively reached out to multiple insurance providers to get me multiple quotes to choose from before we even close.
All I can say is as an out of state investor first time going into OR market, working with her give me the peace of mind and take at least 50% of the workload off my shoulder.
I was grateful to have met Melissa and I can not recommend her more.

As first-time home buyers, there was a lot to learn about the housing market before making a major financial decision. It took us (my wife and I) about 3 months of talking to realtors, lenders, and house-touring to finally get the keys to our dream house.
So, if you are a first-time home buyer like us and not sure where to start, Melissa would be an AMAZING option and here is why:
1. Melissa's been in the real estate business for over a decade, so even after learning so much on our own, we still benefited from her background.
2. Melissa has also been working as a landlord, and previously as
a lender. That helped enormously in identifying potential issues with houses we toured, and it helped us make an informed decision.
3. Melissa's availability was extraordinary! She worked around our schedules, responded to emails/messages even on weekends and her days off.
4. Melissa's years of experience came with perks! She had a contact list with different lenders, home inspectors, and insurance companies that she gladly made calls to on our behalf that saved valuable time.
5. Finally, on the day of closing, she was there with us when we signed the title paperwork, and this is what the title agent who's been in the business for over 20 years had to say about her: I have not worked with a realtor as knowledgeable as Melissa before.

We went with Melissa to be our agent after a vigorous search process. Looking at Melissa's body of work, we found flawless reviews of other buyer's experiences along with great references.
Throughout our home buying process, Melissa was very communicative, timely, and would frequently dive in and take on tasks that she shouldn't have to do. She is very knowledgeable about the Portland metro area, especially the west side, and has great relationships with others in the industry as well as contractors who showed up and gave bids in the timeframes that we needed.

Melissa was amazing to work with from beginning to end. She worked really hard to find us the house we dreamed of while successfully managing our expectations every step of the way. She was solution-oriented and handled unexpected challenges with finesse. She was able to quickly get a sense of what we liked and didn't like, so that when we made a plan for each week, we only hit houses that had the most potential. Her background in property management and owning her own properties was extremely helpful when it came to envisioning any repairs or remodels for spaces we looked at. She had great recommendations for contractors for every imaginable project, and could estimate ballpark costs for all of it—which ultimately helped us find the space that was within budget including immediate projects. We wouldn't hesitate to work with Melissa for any future real estate need in the future!
