Lucas Chaya del Pino, our co-founder, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. A Duke University MBA graduate, Lucas has 18 years of small business ownership under his belt, having launched and successfully exited multiple ventures. His extensive experience includes over a decade of real estate investing, and a significant tenure in the corporate world, as the creator and leader of Dell for Startups and Dell Expert Network, two programs with $500M+ in revenue per year. Flor Llaudet, our co-founder and Texas REALTOR, has a deep-rooted expertise in the Austin real estate market. With 9 years of experience in short-term rentals property management and 18 years in small business ownership, Flor excels in marketing, sales, and human resources. Flor's insights and local knowledge ensure that our clients receive the best possible advice and support. CHL Rentals is an absolutely outstanding property management company. Their team is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and truly understands what excellent customer service means. Every interaction has been smooth and stress-free.
They are fast responders, always available when you need them, and they consistently go above and beyond to make sure everything is handled promptly and correctly. What I appreciate the most is how they adapt to the client’s needs — they really listen, they care, and they make you feel supported every step of the way.

As a Broker, I'm always on the lookout for excellence in my profession. I found that with CHL Property Management. I represented a tenant and this team was easy to communicate with, quick to respond and did their due diligence for the owner. Their property was one of the best ones in both maintenance and presentation.

I had a very disappointing experience with CHL while they managed my Airbnb properties. Initially, I was hopeful about their services, but unfortunately, they betrayed my trust in a significant way.
After a few months of management, I discovered that they were manipulating numbers and not being transparent about the bookings and finances. This misconduct has led to considerable financial loss for me. When I raised my concerns, rather than addressing them professionally, I was met with threats of blackmail, which has left me feeling unsafe and anxious.
I strongly advise anyone considering their services to proceed with caution. My experience has been troubling, and I believe sharing it is necessary to prevent others from going through a similar situation.

At the beginning of the year, a friend and I took on the responsibility of helping a dear friend transition into assisted living. She’d been experiencing memory challenges and needed more consistent care. Along with that came a long list of big decisions — one of the biggest being what to do with her home.
Neither of us felt equipped to handle getting the house rental-ready, so I reached out to my neighbor, a real estate agent, to see if she could recommend a property management company. She pointed us to a fellow agent who had recently launched a business: CHL Property Management.
From our first contact, Flor and her team were a godsend. She connected us with everyone we needed — cleaners, repair professionals, and contractors — to get the home prepped and in shape. It was a big job, and truthfully, we were often the ones slowing things down. But Flor and her team were patient, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout.
In the end, they found us a great tenant — a perfect fit — with a three-year lease at the full asking price. We couldn't be happier with the outcome or the support we received. Huge thanks to everyone at CHL Property Management — we’re so grateful!
