Once inside, it was clear that the host has a spiritual bent, as evidenced by the crystals placed carefully in many of the rooms. My girlfriend and I used the TV room for our twice daily meditations, and we always felt refreshed afterwards. The three nights we spent there seemed way too short, and we'd like to plan a longer stay the next time we book the house. All in all the house exceeded our expectations, and we can unequivocally recommend that you consider renting this lovely accommodation!

Brighthouse Property Management, owned by Erin Lenhardt, managed our Chapel Hill home as a short-term rental for approximately one year. After that period, we made the decision to part ways due to repeated and unresolved issues. Throughout the management relationship, Brighthouse consistently prioritized short-term guest convenience over the interests of us as property owners. On multiple occasions, decisions were made that directly affected the long-term care, condition, and financial stewardship of our home without appropriate owner consultation. A major concern was financial transparency. We repeatedly requested receipts and documentation for expenses charged to our account and did not receive them despite multiple follow-ups. Communication overall was poor, inconsistent, and reactive rather than proactive, especially regarding the care and management of our property. As property owners, we expect clear communication, accountability, and respect for the fact that a home is often someone’s largest financial investment. Unfortunately, Brighthouse failed to meet those basic expectations. Now that we are no longer in business together, I can say plainly that I do not recommend Brighthouse Property Management to anyone who cares about how their money is spent or how their property is managed. I strongly advise other owners to look elsewhere.

An absolutely amazing home in the middle of nowhere in North Carolina — the perfect place to relax, reset, and enjoy nature. The house is filled with soul and character, and you can feel it in every detail. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, with soft lighting, a fully equipped kitchen where everything works perfectly, and so much natural light from the many windows. We loved the relaxing lounge area and the awesome collection of old-style movies, which I really enjoyed watching on the TV. The bathroom was great with plenty of hot water, the bedrooms were quiet and peaceful, and the bedding was incredibly cozy and comfortable — with more than enough pillows. Overall, the house gave us such a wonderful, welcoming feeling. Huge thanks to Sally and Erin for their hospitality and for creating such an amazing place. We’d love to come back again someday!

Erin's spot was straight-up awesome! I booked her property in Naples, Florida. The place was as beautiful as I could imagine and clean, plus she hooked us up with all the basics we needed. Zero complaints about anything - the wifi was solid, everything worked great, and the location was perfect for hitting up all the local spots. Erin was super quick to text back whenever we had questions and gave us some killer food recommendations. Honestly, it felt like crashing at a friend's place. I’ve had to pleasure to stay at various Brighthouse properties within NC. They are always spotless and Erin (the host) has a very professional team to help with any sort of issues that come up. We love staying at the Brighthouse, and so do all my children.

Erin was the best host that I have had when booking a rental property! We had one issue and within 24 hours it was fixed. She was very accommodating and the house was like it's own private resort. The house was in the perfect area close the the grocery stores and local bars. The area South End is very such fun neighborhood with bars, shops and convenience to get to downtown Charlotte. I would definitely stay at her place again.
