This is my third property renting through Hartmann, and I can honestly say I love this company. Every time I’ve had an issue or needed assistance, Kris has always been quick to help and resolve any problems. The customer service has been exceptional. I especially want to recognize Stephanie, who has been absolutely amazing. After recently welcoming a new baby, I needed more space, and she went above and beyond to help me find the perfect home. Her kindness, dedication, and willingness to help made such a stressful process so much easier. I am beyond grateful for everything Hartmann, Kris, and Stephanie have done for me. It’s rare to find a company that truly cares about its tenants, and I highly recommend Hartmann to anyone looking for a place to call home. Thank you for helping me start this new chapter!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. They are a bunch of money grubbing slumlords. Save yourself some money and live anywhere else. Because the rent they charge is too much for the dump they will rent to you.
The lady is a real piece of work. If she smells money in the water she will charge you for everything under the sun, including lawn care, which they took care of for 7 years, but suddenly when we move out we owe them $50 because the lawn wasn’t mowed? Not sure how that makes sense. They “lost” our move in papers, so make sure you keep yours safe and sound so they don’t come swimming around like a shark with chum in the water. I really give this company 0 out of 0 stars. One word to sum them up, unprofessional.
I’m seriously thinking of seeking out a lawyer. I’m sure they’ll suddenly find the move in paperwork then.

Really enjoyed my time with Hartmann. Very attentive when called about things with the apartment. I wish I had reached out to them before moving out. But it is what it is with that situation.

Just got a call for a viewing and to put a application in and was very excited! Told them my work schedule and i would not be available till 4:30. The next morning they call me saying someone else is approved and they turn it into a race to get it first. After a few words they will no longer rent out to me so i can not sat stay away enough. This is not a people-first realtor in my experience, if anyone wants i have pictures of when they renovated our apartment they threw all our stuff in the middle of the floor covered with dirt, installed CARPET in our bathroom and evicted us, if i had the money i would hands down be in a legal battle with these people cause they can not be trusted. The staff in office is incredibly rude. Theres just so many things wrong with how they run their business. The only thing i can recommend is helping the downfall of this realtor so someone can make living around here affordable and actually livable, going to take my previous experience to the Bbb now with how they have treated me for a second time.

Terrible people. They love to get over and act as if they’re trying to help I was told to give a 30 day notice before moving which I did, and I was placed in the hospital because of the black mold they painted over in the bathroom!. As I was in the hospital they entered my apartment and and threw things out claiming it was a mess but never attempted to show me the pictures when asked and billed me 3,200 on the 20th of May(way before the 30 days were over) and refuse to try and fix what they messed up.

I rented with Hartmann for just over 2.5 years. The apartment I rented was 2 bed 1.5 bath with a garage and washer and dryer hookups! Less than $800 per month! It was the first place I got after my undergrad and was perfect for what I needed. I never had any major issues. The pump on one of the toilets broke and was fixed in less than 3 days by their maintenance crew. Treat the place good and pay your rent on time like a decent human...you will have a great, reliable, and affordable home/apartment. If I did not take a job outside of the Metro East, I would still be there!
