QB saved me after a terrible experience with another contractor. They got my project back on track and saw it to the end. My project was a full gut on a 2 unit property in Chicago with a 203K loan. It was a drawn out process but QB was professional and reliable. We had weekly meetings about the progress and pictures were loaded in their mobile app every week, which was great because I wasn’t on site. It was my first renovation and they offered guidance and was always kept it real about budget and what could be done. Jonathan went above and beyond to make sure I got to the finished line and I’m grateful for him. The only hang up I had was the finishing guy. It took him a while to get come back and patch up things at the end but we eventually got it done. I highly recommend and would consider them again. The easiest to work with and I didn’t feel like they were taking advantage of me because I am a woman.

Quality builders recently completed a full gut rehab of my bathroom and i could not be happier with it. The communication throughout the project was excellent. They found some serious issues behind the walls and it barely set them back from their original end date. The end result is a gorgeous bathroom that will last until the building falls down. I plan on working with quality builders on all my renovation projects going forward.

My husband and I own a 2-flat built in the 1890s and our top floor unit was in need of cosmetic upgrades as well as some structural fixes. After receiving quotes and consultations from 3 different general contracting firms we chose to contract with quality builders. We chose them for their mid-range prices and most importantly their trust-worthiness. - They never tried to upsell us on more expensive finishes (like some others did even during the consulting phase). - Their experts discussed our options to duplex up or not and they gave us full details and their honest opinion which helped us make the best decision for our building and our future. We got to work drawing up the contract and scope of work. Johnathan was patient and worked with us to make sure every detail was included - even though in the end there were a few things we didn’t get in the scope and a few change orders occurred throughout the project. QB was open to us doing our own demo to save money and throughout the project their contractors explained the process step by step with my husband so he was confident in the work they were doing. QB were receptive to our questions and were in close contact every step of the way. Of course, no project goes perfectly. The contracting process took longer than we expected which delayed the start of the project. Also, while we told the project manager we were happy to store materials in our other unit so that they could be ordered in a timely manner, they did not do that and a few times we had to either wait for items to arrive or choose a new item because our original sold out. Both instances caused minor delays. All in all, we were very happy with the work and professionalism of Quality Builders. Our redone unit is beautiful and despite the delays, was completed in less than 6 months. We would recommend Quality Builders to anyone looking to renovate their property.

Jonathan and his team are top quality! They are highly regarded professionals in Chicago! This year they did a wonderful job for my clients! The latest project in 2025 was a Victorian two story in Logan Square area. The project consisted of a new kitchen with new layout as open plan. Opening of the back porch to create more open family room space and a new deck beyond. There also was a new master bath on the second floor. The family bath no longer served their use with a young family of five. Jonathan and his team were very resourceful and help on some of the selections of the projects fixtures and finishes. Our design firm did the architectural work as design. The family is now happily using their new house project and they are loving and adapting to their new house and space. We are happy to send over new clients after this!
