I’m only giving one star because zero isn’t an option. I honestly would NOT recommend this company, especially to tenants. Their customer service is horrible; they barely answer, communication between their own staff is terrible, and you can get completely different answers depending on who you talk to. What bothered me the most was the lack of humanity. Sometimes it honestly felt like money was the only thing that mattered. They seem to forget that without tenants actually renting and paying for these properties, there wouldn’t be much of a business in the first place. Tenants are people, not just rent payments. I also find it interesting that many of the positive reviews seem to come from property owners. Maybe their experience is different, but from the tenant side, what I witnessed was completely different. If you’re considering renting through them, I would seriously think twice. Before you respond saying I was never your tenant, you’re right, I wasn’t. My boyfriend was, and I personally witnessed the experience he had with this company. The lack of communication and customer service was bad enough, but maintenance was another story. He had an electrical issue in the house for over SIX MONTHS. They said someone would come check it, but no one ever showed up and the problem continued, causing him additional expenses. When tenants need help or something needs to be fixed, getting a response or an actual solution seems almost impossible. But when it comes to collecting rent or charging fees, suddenly communication is not a problem. Property management should be more than collecting rent, you also have a responsibility to actually manage and maintain the property.
