I am a plumbing/drain cleaning service provider for Hornberger Property management and have to say that I like this company! They're prompt to respond to tenants needs so that ofcourse helps me. Lol. I've interacted with each of their Property management representatives but no one as much as Anna. In fact it's been almost only Anna and she is great too. The tenants I meet say the same thing about her. I wish them all the best as a company. I would recommend their services to anyone who needs a property management company to manage their investments.

My manager from this company continues to call me a lair (in a round about way,) and refused to fix a illegal bill on ny ledger until the previous company contacted her, even though I sent MULTYPLE copies of the wrong bills and she is still trying to charge me too much at once for a payment plan. Then she expects me to trust her with anything going on in my home after all of this drama and her sweet rude comments and when I asked for someone OTHER then her I am immediately called by the person I am having issues with.... I mean is there anyone higher then HER, I have already went to the news, I plan to contact my lawyer and set this up for a court case at this point. I mean jesus, tried to charge me well over 6,000 illegally and refused to fix it when I provided proof, this company is a horrible joke, just wish the punch line would be over...

This property management company is so shady. My story falls under the same "application denied" trope, then "we already accepted an application" but after several days of checking online the apartment is still available. Here is my story (sounding awfully familiar with others). I'm a new professor at Gonzaga. In my 13 years of living in the United States, I never had an issue with my landlords, except last year, in Spokane, with that one awful human being. Hornberger uses "Findings" for their application portal (it's terrible), and on there it says to provide the names of the last 2 landlords. I didn't think my previous landlord would go as far as to block me from renting (since I didn't do anything wrong and always paid my rent even when he refused to warm the place above 55F in winter). My other rental property with whom I stayed 2 years, was awesome and I have a perfect ledger with them. Well, my application was denied because of that 1 terrible man. I called Hornberger, tried to argue for my case, a friend called and tried to defend my case. When I finally was able to talk to the Michelle (apparently manager), she said that what he said was so awful she could not ignore it. I explained his last 3 tenants (before me) threatened to take him to court, one did, that he has had several city ordinance, that he does not comply with the law, that I have an neighborhood ready to vouch for me, my pastor, the chair of my department, 6+ previous landlords very happy with me, but she wouldn't bulge. So I asked how can the voice of 1 man outweigh the voice of 10 other people? She then said "Well, I'm sorry another application has been approved". Except the first employee I talked to in the morning confirmed that the apartment was still available and I could apply for it. Then she had the nerve to ask if I was interested in a different property! Hm, no thank you. I will be taking my business elsewhere, to someone honest and understanding.

The most UNPROFESSIONAL rental company I’ve ever spoken to. My family put in an application for a rental and were more than qualified. Michelle (who should be fired lol) then asked my family for additional paystubs and so my family sent them not even an hour after she asked. She then came back and told my family “the rental is no longer available” well since I have a different last name I put in a request for a tour for the SAME rental and they were going to schedule one with me even though they said it had been rented out. Fast forward and I get a call myself from Michelle asking if I was still interested in a tour for that rental. I asked if it was still available and she said AND I QUOTE “well technically someone was approved but we aren’t taking it off the market until we get a deposit from them” like WHY SCHEDULE TOURS IF SOMEONE WAS APPROVED ALREADY?! Then my mom friend’s lives a couple houses down and sent a picture to my mom of that same house flooding and that they experience flooding quite a bit in that place. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT GO THROUGH HORNBERGER!!!! The worst company ever 🥴 *I included a pic of the driveway that was flooding in front of the house lol*
