We recently stayed at an ABODEbucks rental in St. Louis for a girls weekend. We had a wonderful time! The home was very clean. The accommodations were very comfortable. The home had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. It was easy to work with them to arrange our travel. The check in and check out process was very clear. We would definitely rent this property again.

House is beautiful and the location couldn't be better. Neighbors were super kind and we loved it so much we stayed an extra night (and found ourselves on Zillow looking for permanent options, LOL)! It was a great place to stay for our family.

We stayed at their Oregon Ave property in St. Louis. Not the nicest neighbor, but it did look like some of the surrounding properties are being cleaned up. House was clean. They made sure to ask us how many guest would be staying. We had 6 guest and only 5 bath towels. I made them aware of the towel situation, but had to make do with what was there. This is the second rental we’ve stayed in that didn’t have enough towels for the registered guests. They communicated well, but I was a little alarmed by one of the messages saying something along the lines of “we know accidents happen……stained linens, towels etc…. Don’t worry. We will turn that in on our insurance and charge you for it.” After I received that message, I went around the house videoing and taking pictures of all the imperfections on the property. I was a nervous wreck when I seen my 16 year old got some makeup on one of the white hand towels that I hand washed it so I wouldn’t get charged. Also, the week before we showed up, there was a snow storm. We were asked to take the trash out the back door to the alleyway. The back deck and steps were a sheet of ice. That should have been cleared before guests arrived. Overall the property was as described

We really enjoyed the charm of this home. It was very cute, nicely decorated, spacious, and seemed to be located in a neighborhood that was safe. The host was extremely friendly and very responsive, which we genuinely appreciated throughout our stay. We did request an early check in as our event started the same time as check in and they were not able to accomodate so we had to change clothes and get ready in a parking lot. This is not the hosts fault but would have been a big help. There were a few maintenance issues that future guests should be aware of. The toilet in the primary bathroom clogged every time it was flushed, and one of the shower doors in that bathroom was off the track and not usable. The guest bathroom shower was also leaking heavily where the shower head meets the arm, causing water to spray outside the shower and even reach the ceiling. My husband ended up fixing it so we could use it. At check-in, host also informed us that the oven wasn’t working. There were a few other minor inconveniences as well. Additionally, the basement did not have a lock, which might be something to consider so guests know they shouldn’t go down there. We also had some trouble with the backdoor keypad. Overall, we still had a nice stay thanks to the home’s charm and the host’s friendliness, but addressing these issues would definitely improve the experience for future guests.

As a property owner, they were too expensive to manage my Airbnb or the guest requests. The owner as I understood lived out of town and hired locals who had a rather high turnover rate. The cleaning service had little oversight and at the end, I lost confidence in the quality of service provided to the guests. Also, it was not profitable compared to when I did Airbnb on my own. Based on my experience as a host, I do not recommend.

We stayed at 931 Park Ave for a family trip with eight adults and five kids, and it was perfect. The layout gave us plenty of space to spread out without feeling like we were walking all over each other. We made breakfast and dinner every day, and the kitchen had plenty of room to work in. The large dining table was a huge bonus—it fit all 13 of us comfortably and became the heart of our time together. Like most Airbnbs, kitchen supplies can be hit or miss, so I brought a few things from home just in case. The only extras I really missed were a mixing bowl or two and maybe a couple more hand towels (but we were cooking a lot, so most guests probably wouldn’t even notice). The beds were super comfy, and there were plenty of nice linens and towels. Having a washer and dryer available was also really helpful. The neighborhood was quiet—we didn’t hear a peep during our stay. There was plenty of parking in the back and on the street, and we felt completely safe the entire time. This place made our family trip easy and fun. We’d absolutely stay here again!

We had a family get together of 8 adults and 3 kids at the Lady Emma near Lafayette square. The home is absolutely beautiful. We were very comfortable. The house was stocked well with everything we needed. We all enjoyed the game room on the 3rd floor. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. We appreciated the 2 parking spaces at the back of the home. Great location for the many activities in St. Louis. The only thing we had problem with is that the king size bed in one of the bedrooms is really tall. I’m only 5’2 but after looking around we found a step stool to use. lol. So the stool is in the laundry room for anyone that needs it. The host was very quick to respond to the couple of questions that we had. We would definitely stay here again.
