The home was in a great location and very clean. My husband left his church clothes in the closet and they got them in the mail right away. I was very greatfull. Communication was great.

The singularly most unprofessional, unresponsive, and inept company with whom I have had them misfortune of doing business.
I selected this property for a weekend with my grandchildren I had to go through a pretty onerous process to prove that I was who I say I am even though I have stayed at multiple VRBO properties in the past with very positive reviews from all owners.
After the back-and-forth after paying rental in full my rental was canceled one day before our vacation, the day AFTER I received a confirmation email subject line "All Set for Your Trip to St. Louis".
Even though I have since found this company has 67 rentals, they did not offer to help us find another property, in fact, they tried to get us to cancel so that it wouldn’t be held against them by VRBO. The story was that the owner had decided to sell the property (in 1 day?) and it was no longer available.
When I called the “ Customer Service” I was greeted with a mumbled "Hello" and a gentleman who sound like I woke him up, I thought I dialed the wrong number. After discussing the last minute cancellation. I was told he would look and see if they had any options to help me, now mind you I had to contact them; they did not contact me. I was told I would be called back in 15 minutes. After 15 hours with no response I contacted VRBO and spoke to a wonderful customer service representative named Jake. He took all the information and VRBO did their best to assist me.
I will never consider renting with Abodebucks again and strongly recommend that no one else does either.

They hosted us on Airbnb. They were extremely attentive. The communication was crisp. The house was spotless and very comfortable... really made us feel at home. I asked for an early check in due to traveling and they were more than accommodating for all my and my families needs. Even when there was a problem they were quick at problem solving. Highly recommend 👌

We recently stayed at an ABODEbucks rental in St. Louis for a girls weekend. We had a wonderful time! The home was very clean. The accommodations were very comfortable. The home had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. It was easy to work with them to arrange our travel. The check in and check out process was very clear. We would definitely rent this property again.

We stayed at their Oregon Ave property in St. Louis. Not the nicest neighbor, but it did look like some of the surrounding properties are being cleaned up. House was clean. They made sure to ask us how many guest would be staying. We had 6 guest and only 5 bath towels. I made them aware of the towel situation, but had to make do with what was there. This is the second rental we’ve stayed in that didn’t have enough towels for the registered guests. They communicated well, but I was a little alarmed by one of the messages saying something along the lines of “we know accidents happen……stained linens, towels etc…. Don’t worry. We will turn that in on our insurance and charge you for it.” After I received that message, I went around the house videoing and taking pictures of all the imperfections on the property. I was a nervous wreck when I seen my 16 year old got some makeup on one of the white hand towels that I hand washed it so I wouldn’t get charged. Also, the week before we showed up, there was a snow storm. We were asked to take the trash out the back door to the alleyway. The back deck and steps were a sheet of ice. That should have been cleared before guests arrived. Overall the property was as described

We really enjoyed the charm of this home. It was very cute, nicely decorated, spacious, and seemed to be located in a neighborhood that was safe. The host was extremely friendly and very responsive, which we genuinely appreciated throughout our stay. We did request an early check in as our event started the same time as check in and they were not able to accomodate so we had to change clothes and get ready in a parking lot. This is not the hosts fault but would have been a big help.
There were a few maintenance issues that future guests should be aware of. The toilet in the primary bathroom clogged every time it was flushed, and one of the shower doors in that bathroom was off the track and not usable. The guest bathroom shower was also leaking heavily where the shower head meets the arm, causing water to spray outside the shower and even reach the ceiling. My husband ended up fixing it so we could use it. At check-in, host also informed us that the oven wasn’t working. There were a few other minor inconveniences as well.
Additionally, the basement did not have a lock, which might be something to consider so guests know they shouldn’t go down there. We also had some trouble with the backdoor keypad.
Overall, we still had a nice stay thanks to the home’s charm and the host’s friendliness, but addressing these issues would definitely improve the experience for future guests.

We had a family get together of 8 adults and 3 kids at the Lady Emma near Lafayette square. The home is absolutely beautiful. We were very comfortable. The house was stocked well with everything we needed. We all enjoyed the game room on the 3rd floor. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. We appreciated the 2 parking spaces at the back of the home. Great location for the many activities in St. Louis. The only thing we had problem with is that the king size bed in one of the bedrooms is really tall. I’m only 5’2 but after looking around we found a step stool to use. lol. So the stool is in the laundry room for anyone that needs it. The host was very quick to respond to the couple of questions that we had. We would definitely stay here again.

The reservations was very convenient. The management was very accommodating to our requests leading up to our reservations. My wife and our friends had a wonderful stay at the McKinley Heights/Fox Park property. The pictures from their reservations site was exactly what we got, which was a beautiful property. Our whole party agreed on the character and coziness of the property. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with everything that we could need (including spices of all kinds). We are looking forward to returning to this property or trying out one of their other properties. If you are planning to visit St Louis, and you want to use a more value friendly service than AirBnB or VRBO, do not hesitate to go to their reservations site.
