When I think about moving it makes me nervous. Moving is one of the most anxiety driven events that take place in anyone’s life, especially when you are moving from one state to the next state. Working with Above All Property Management was absolutely amazing. Even with the fact that I’m annoying asking a ton of questions, they treated me so well it made me walk away rethinking how much less stressful it really is. They are attentive, thorough, quick to respond, and most importantly so pleasant to talk to. I actually look forward to engaging with them once I move in if I have any issues as I feel they act as an advocate for both the renter/leaser and the landlord. If I could I would give them 6 stars.

Incredible! From the beginning of our process to the very end picking up our keys! Jen was so helpful and patient with us. She walked us through everything and provided everything we needed every step of the way. She was so personable and knowledgeable. Thank you for making this transaction so seamless especially while we were out of state!!!

Just finished a two years of renting a house with Above All. I have rented 6 properties previously and never received the level of professionalism, courtesy, accommodation, and genuine care that Above All provided. Jen, Chilon, Rachel, and their team are top notch, and care about living up to their name. If you are a renter or a property owner, I would highly recommend them.

When it comes to property managers, the ability to find tenants and manage the day to day is of course a staple, but what will differentiate a PM company most is how they take care of YOU, the person who is paying them to take care of your best interests and represent you. This is especially applicable when something happens that is unforeseen, unexpected, or challenging. Not to be too dramatic, but to quote MLK Jr: “the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy”. And while Above All Property Management is completely fine taking your money when it is easy and convenient, what you will find is when they are met with anything challenging, they will kick you to the curb and leave you to fend for yourself. I had a situation where my tenant unfortunately passed away and property was left in the premises. The owner Chilon’s response? She asked me to fire them. She used the excuse: “we have never dealt with this before”, as if I have dealt with this and I am somehow more prepared to deal with it than these "professional" property managers are. They do not even have a lawyer or contact who is a specialist on tenant-landlord law, were unwilling to talk to one, and unwilling help me navigate this in the least. After a quick 5 minutes of googling, I was able to find NC General Statute 28A-25-7 which explicitly outlines the legal framework to follow for this exact situation – but I shouldn’t have been forced to do this on my own!! I felt totally abandoned, expressed this to Chilon and was met with “I have to protect myself – you understand”. I really don't - this is not why I enlisted the help of a property manager, and is just failing at being a decent person. I have since researched various other property management companies, almost all of which have a lawyer on retainer that specialize in tenant/landlord law, and they were ALL shocked that this property management company did what they did. On top of that, they all had lower rates and/or upfront tenant finding fees as well. Do your own research, but please learn from my mistake and know that the only thing that Above All Property Mgmt puts “above all” else is unfortunately themselves. Trust this company at your own risk.

These people are the most caring people I have ever worked with! They actually care about their tenants unlike so many other companies! I would scream from the rooftops………rent from these folks!
