Tax & Accounting | Accounting | Bookkeeping | Tax planning & strategy | Tax prep & filing I’m Jason Malabute, CPA, CTC, MBA — a real estate-focused tax strategist and investor with hands-on experience in STR, MTR, LTR, BRRRR, fix & flip, buy & hold, house hacking, and 1031 exchanges. I’ve personally invested in single-family and multifamily value-add projects across Atlanta, GA and Indianapolis, IN — including as a General Partner syndicating 342 multifamily units. We interviewed a number of CPA's and decided to work with Jason. He was the only one that truly listened to our various business structures. Jason is honest and works with a high level of integrity and is very inspirational. His office is professional and very well organized. It's a pleasure working with Jason!!

I got the opportunity to work with Jason and his team, and I've got to say, the work they do is fantastic and extremely thorough. I did the financial review, and Jason brought to light several situations I was overlooking on my own and with prior CPAs. Malabute & Company is especially knowledgeable in real estate and business entity structure and tax law. Looking forward to working with them on a regular and annual basis.

Jason and team are great! I purchased the Financial Review package and bookkeeping cleanup at a great price. Just wrapped our Financial Review, and I feel a lot more informed and confident heading into tax season. The document upload process was easy with their portal, and basically asks for every document related to real estate. He helped me identify a couple missed opportunities from another rental property. Basically super comprehensive. I found them through Bigger Pockets.

Jason and his CPA bookkeeping team were amazing to work with. They helped me get fully caught up on my 2025 books and properly categorize all of my real estate projects, which is no small task with how many moving parts and transactions there are in this business. They initially told me it would take about three weeks, but they finished everything in closer to two weeks, truly under-promising and over-delivering.
The communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Jason and Alyssa were both very responsive, organized, and there were zero delays. Most importantly, they gave me real clarity and confidence in my financials. Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable CPA bookkeeping team.

They helped me reconcile everything, clean up transactions, and gave me a fresh, accurate set of books I can finally feel confident in.
