About us
We know what it's like to live out of the state, or country. As a military family, we moved to several different states and overseas, and we were very appreciative of the property managers we had in place. We take care of your property as if it were our own. We manage Long Term Single Family Homes, Condos, Studio Apartments and multiunits in Montgomery County, parts of Prince Georges County in Maryland, and D.C. We take care of the properties for owner-clients who wish to be fully hands-off and unbothered in the day to day operations of managing the property. We take on all the stress, so investors and accidental landlords don’t have to. We are your property management company!

We rented our first apartment through PMI Potomac. They are extremely professional, very responsive and ensured a smooth move in and move out procedure for us. Everything was very transparent and we had zero issues. Their service is top notch. We are very grateful to the entire team for their excellent support and collaboration. Matt and Susan are amazing people. Big thanks!

Applied for an apartment and waited a week with absolute silence—online it said my application was in, but I got no confirmation as to whether any real person actually viewed it. I reached out and asked about a timeline or when I could expect to hear back. Again, nothing. I understand these things can take time but almost 2 weeks of absolute silence is crazy. I ended up signing elsewhere, but it sucks that all they did was take my application money and ghost me. I wish I could get a refund since this was absolutely ridiculous. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Great experience working with PMI Potomac. They are professional, respectful, and very organized. It’s clear they prioritize the homeowner's needs and ensure the property is well-maintained. A pleasure to do business with!

PMI Potomac rented me a condo with no carbon monoxide detector despite it having gas. Unforgivable. In addition- the condo had inconsistent to non-existent hot water. This was not disclosed to me until after I moved in. I had to take cold showers for over a year and they did nothing effective to fix it or compensate me for the issue. They created miscommunication between the owners and I, leading to me getting told I’d have to move out just 3 weeks after being told I could stay indefinitely. This led to me having to pay an extra month of rent despite having been ready to move out the previous month. They also told me that they were going to refund my deposit within 45 days and I had to be the one to remind them to refund it to me on the 45th day. So unprofessional.

PMI Potomac is the gold standard of service — truly outstanding in every way. They’re not only incredibly reliable and professional, but also humble and genuine in how they treat others. It’s rare to find a team that delivers high-quality work while remaining so down-to-earth. I continue to be impressed by their hard work, consistency, integrity, and the respect they show everyone they work with. Without a doubt, a 5 Star team (Matt and Susan) in my book!
