Currently having a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience with Emerson property management. They made getting into the property a breeze and everything started very professional until move-in day. I relocated from DFW only to find this house was INFESTED with roaches and other bugs. The “cleaned”/wet carpets were absolutely disgusting and smelled of pets and urine and was literally crawling with bugs. I was unable to walk the property myself since I lived 4 hours away, but had a realtor (Nicole Freeman) video her walk for me. Although the lights were off in the video, everything looked like it did in the pictures so I was pleased and applied immediately. She didn’t mention any bugs or smells. Upon arrival, I walked the property and found that it was NOT move in ready. Besides the roach infestation and rancid smell, there was a laundry list of things waiting for me to fix. No weatherstripping on any doors leading to outside, lightbulbs missing in the garage, oven, and microwave, smoke detectors beeping, old refrigerator filter needing to be replaced, clothes dryer not working, a broken window that can’t open, etc. After a week of living in these conditions with my 3 year old, Cameron finally got pest control and carpet cleaners out here. None of my other inquiries have been handled so I have to fix all of these things myself. Save yourself the trouble (and money) and find a property that is not managed by this company.

It was a smooth transaction working with Liz with Emerson Property Management from end-to-end. Very responsive to my clients questions as well as my questions and concerns. The property touring instructions and application process was simple and easy. The property was clean and ready to move-in. We had an approval within 3 days. Realtors commission is important in the process as well and that is made easy as well. No waiting for weeks. Thank you Liz for making our experience a GREAT One!!!
