It’s a Jewish-owned company; they want everything for free and won't fix anything—they just say it's fine the way it is. If you see Realty Now Property Management, run in the opposite direction.A rude maintenance guy came over and just caused damage and stole my keys; on top of doing a lousy job, they steal your stuff. Stay away—if you're thinking of renting from them, don't do it.

I booked to see a house with this company and never got to see it because the realtor had times on her schedule that were not within her working hours and claimed at first that she had been double booked by the system. We were notified day of and she tried to move us to earlier in the day which was not possible for us. I personally believe this is very unprofessional as she had nearly a week to contact me to reschedule the showing, but chose to wait until hours before. I then called when i recieved a text saying that the appointment was fully canceled and was told that there was nothing she could do and that the property would not be available by our desired move in date, despite putting said date on the tour request form. If you are trying to tour with this company I would be prepared for situations like this.

ATTENTION: DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!
They are absolutely terrible, especially Amy! She is a terrible, horrible person. My initial was infested with roaches and rodents. When I brought this to Amy, she promised something would be done and nothing was done. There was an actual bat that came in through the ceiling as well. I had a bat flying around my unit and nothing was done to fix this or even assist me with removing the bat.
She is a human being with no emotion. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! They are the perfect examples of slumlords. There was constant leaks in the apartment that I rented and they were never fixed. Like 8 huge holes in the ceiling! Never repaired. Maintenance only brought buckets to catch the rainwater. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! You will be scammed if you do! It’s not worth the time or energy even speaking to Amy or any leasing agent that is associated with this company. If you see Realty Now Property Management run in the opposite direction!

As an out-of-state investor, I trusted this company to manage my portfolio professionally and proactively.
Over the time they managed my portfolio (3 years), I didn't make a dime. I actually lost thousands of dollars.
That aside, communication from Andrew and Amy was a consistent issue, calls and texts often went unanswered and follow-ups were slow or nonexistent. As an out of state investor who relies on responsive management, that created a ton of uncertainty.
Most concerning, utilities were allowed to go past due without my knowledge, and I ultimately had to step in and cover the costs (this was also thousands of dollars!). Even when I got a new property management company, they made the transition very difficult for all parties involved. Shows the type of company they are.
I would not recommend Realty Now to ANYONE, especially real estate investors managing properties remotely.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!
Like many others, I wish I could give them 0 stars. I am going to list only some of the things that went wrong. I have rented from other companies in the area and they are substantially better than this rental company. For all future renters out there please read these reviews, from those who have dealt with this company, and not those who just looked at a property.
1 - I had to spend hours cleaning this apartment before moving in as it was disgusting upon move-in. I noticed, upon the first viewing of this apartment, some of the things that were not cleaned or working properly. I asked Brandon, the one showing the apartment about it and he said “No problem. They always do a cleaning of the apartment and inspect the place for things that need to be fixed prior to any tenant moving in”. That was a lie as it never happened.
2 - Upon moving in, the furnace for my unit wasn’t working and actually got red tagged by the company inspecting it because it was not suitable for use. I moved in March 2024 when it was still snowing outside. After calling the after hours number, they said someone couldn’t come out until the next work week. Offered no other solution and couldn’t use the heat in my unit. The fix was to replace the filter and remove the red tag.
3 - MANY maintenance tickets were submitted my first week of living in the apartment because so much wasn’t working (kitchen faucet leaking, bathroom vanity was busted & one drawer didn’t even close, closet door fell off hinges, laundry (for entire complex) wasn’t working, sliding glass door wouldn’t close, and there was more.) The response time was lacking and only some issues were ever fixed.
4 - The laundry situation... In the total months renting from them (approximately 18 months) the complex had a working washer/dryer for maybe 3 months. I had to follow up with Amy who always had some excuse about how it was getting fixed next week or that she would personally be out to look at it. None of that ever happened and it remained broken. I submitted a ticket for the dryer on 03/2024 and it was fixed on 10/31/2024. Two months later the washer broke so I submitted a ticket for the washer to be fixed on 12/05/2024 and it was never fixed. Upon my move out on 10/01/2025, the washer was still broken. Mind you the laundry was listed as an amenity in the original listing for this apartment so it should have been provided.
5 - Due to them never addressing the laundry situation in its entirety, mold began showing behind the washer as it was actively wet, which you can see in the photos. The room next to the laundry room just has sitting water in it. (Photo below.)
6 - The rental company pays for the water heater for the ENTIRE complex. It got shut off and we didn’t have hot water for up to a week. When I called the rental company to let them know, the one woman laughed and told me “that isn’t possible because we don’t pay that bill.” And I said “That’s why it got shut off!!!” I spoke to the gentleman who came to turn it off and he said it was because the rental company hadn’t paid the bill for many months. See below for proof of the notice given to the whole building for the shut off.
Shortly after this last instance, I began looking to leave and terminate lease ASAP. I think I saw one person come by, to ensure the place was up to code, maybe 2 times the whole time I was there. There are so many other things I didn’t list but these are the most egregious. They are negligent, irresponsible and just trying to get your money.
Do the research and make sure you rent from a company that will care about where you live!

I wouldn’t even want to leave one star! But I had to in order to review! This has been the worse realty company I have ever dealt with! I had a leak In my roof for over a year with a big hole and they kept not fixing it. I had to reach out to the city to get that done. Also now my neighbor downstairs had water running down her walls and it was coming from my kitchen sink, she put the work order in 13 days ago and they refuse to come out! They finally show up without notifying anyone and when we both get home it’s a big hole in her wall and one in mine and I have children. Also not to mention we have mice all in the home and they don’t bring an exterminator in they send realty now in with mouse traps and that it’s. Also last year one of the repair guys came in and stole my washer out the basement. That issue hasn’t been addressed either. Don’t RENT from them! The manager Amy is overly RUDE to everyone that she comes across very unhappy people!

After switching to Realty Now the properties were much better cared for, and communication with the team was very smooth. I would highly recommend Realty Now to anyone.
