I want to thank Jake as well as Camelot properties for doing such an amazing job at helping us find our new home in the Prattville area. Jake goes over and beyond with trying to help his clients to make sure they find the right home. As well as, helping us (first time homebuyers) understand the market and steps to being homebuyers. So for anyone wanting to buy a home I highly recommend Jake with Camelot Properties.

We have lived in the same three bedroom two bath house in Montgomery for 6 years and we absolutely adore our property managers ! You can submit a request online , in your app or text the emergency number and someone always gets back to us promptly ! Day or night. Workers are always kind and efficient! Love love love and have no intentions of moving any time soon ! Thankyou Camelot for providing us with not only a house but a place our little boy can call home !

Jake Melton is the best. I gave him my basic criteria and I started getting listings immediately. After one day of seeing houses, I narrowed the criteria and got new and better choices immediately. I found the home I bought in the first week. His insight on lenders was priceless. The concessions he negotiated were superb. I recommend him to everyone.

Jake from Time we met has been a great benefit to me and my family. He and Camelot properties worked tirelessly helping my wife and I find the home of our dreams. He made sure that we got the most out of our purchase and gave us the best deal that we could find. I recommend Jake and Camelot Properties to anyone who is looking for a home. Thank you Jake and Camelot properties for assisting our family in finding our new home.

This is the most unprofessional realty company I’ve experienced. They scheduled a group of people to view a house that they had already rented. No one contacted me via phone or email to discuss my application approval or denial. I’d never rent from this group and I recommend others to not rent from them. If you’re ignored prior to renting, imagine what it would be like once you get into one of their properties.

Kelly Townely was great in helping sell an investment property of mine. Helped me navigate the concession process, was able to tour the home successfully despite the home being occupied by a tenant, and helped drive a resolution for repairs needed as a closing requirement. Highly recommend

Stay Away for Selling your Home!!
I am not going to say every step of this process was bad. I appreciate our realtors initial suggestions on lowering the price for our home. During the process of negotiation process things were going well. Once we received the repair request from the buyers, for some reason the experience started going downhill.
Our realtor received the repair request, from the buyers, on Friday and we were not notified until Sunday. According to the contract we had three days to reply, so our realtor was pressuring us to make a decision quickly. I pushed back and asked to an extension and then all of the sudden that was on the table. Prior to that moment, the pressure was solely on us to make a decision on what we would repair or not.
Since we are out of town, our realtor had a contractor go out and assess the repairs that were requested by the buyers. Upon there estimation, the repairs would be around $12,000. I flew into town and did my own research and found several discrepancies with the assessment. This did not give us a sense of security, that our realtor was looking out for us.
Also, after I flew into town it seemed like our realtor kind of took a step back from all the activities. Granted I was there, but I didn't expect the lack of engagement from our realtor. We also feel like our realtor was constantly pressuring us to make one or two more repairs for the buyer and not holding the buyers tot he document they signed. Rather than holding them accountable, she kept pressuring us to do more.
I cringe every time I think about the commission being 6% on this deal. I feel like the quality of service we received was not earned at all. I can't speak for the buyer's realtor, but on our side, I don't feel the commission price was earned.
In conclusion, I cant speak for finding a home or property management, Camelot may be great at that. As far as selling a home, I would suggest finding another company.

I would like to thank Jake Melton for helping me with making a decision on buying my home . He made the process simple and easy to understand. And he was very patience with me . At time I would get discouraged but he kept me encouraged. His insight was extremely valuable to me and I know I couldn’t have done this without a realtor like him . I have referred him to so many of my family and friends. Once again I want to thank him again and I will definitely use him again on my next purchase.
