PMI East Bay attempted to retroactively raise my rent in Oakland without a RAP notice. An informal email was sent, in January, with a request to pay the increase retroactively from December. PMI East Bay seemed unaware of tenants law and needed me to educate them on Oakland tenants rights, despite being the professionals. Additionally, they have not adhered to the conditions of my original lease agreement, have not made requested repairs and are inconsistent with communication. Very unprofessional, and with a delusional power dynamic. Zero stars.

JP and his team are true professionals, and they came through in a big way for us when we decided to rent out our house instead of selling it. Expectations were clear from the beginning, and he found us a renter in a very short time. Thank you so much!

JP is an excellent property manager who is passionate about placing the right tenant with the right landlord. As a bonus, he has a good understanding of both parties’ legal rights and obligations and therefore can properly advise you on actions your should or shouldn’t take with respect to landlord-tenant issues. If you’re a newbie landlord or someone who just doesn’t have a lot of time to manage your property, do yourself a favor and hire JP!

JP and PMI have been a great company to lease through, they take great care of the owners property, along with their tenants, wich I am one of those tenants. PMI is quick to respond to needs of his tenants and JP is very easy to work with. Their payment set up for automatic payments is great and convenient. I am truly blessed to be living in the home I lease through PMI and am blessed by God leaseing through a great company like PMI Property Management. They are the best Property Management I've ever worked with.
