The staff with this company is not the problem. The problem with this company is they allow slumlord property owners to give you even less than the bare minimum, and still ask for more later. My deposit was cut in half due to the owner/maintenance workers negligence. Everything in my old unit is taped together, falling apart, nothing is installed correctly, and all the work is done by some subpar “contractors” that the owner knows. Clearly patched holes in the wall, cheap janky appliances, “keep out” was spray painted in red on the door by the previous tenant, so they tried to throw a thin layer of paint over it, a baseboard on a kitchen cabinet must have been broken and they placed a literal piece of a 2x4 there and again threw cheap paint on it, and there was dead roaches under the sink when I first moved in. I moved into this mediocre apartment during Covid when options were very limited. I was also told my by old neighbors that police frequently visited the unit 162 on Carroll canyon in San Diego as well, likely drug or crime related. I am disgusted with how I’ve been treated and hopefully I can save others the headache of dealing with the shortcomings of the owner and their team. It’s not worth it!

As a Vendor, I could not think of another Property Management Company with such a family tight group like Uplift. Briana, Megan, Maria, Jorge has been great to work with.
