I have been looking to use my VA loan to purchase a possible 1-4 family home so this includes the va funding fee but just change the percentage to zero if not using a VA loan. The BAH is my military housing allowance so that I can compare owning a home to living on post. The vacancy rate does not include this amount since this is my personal budgeted housing allowance and I do not plan on being vacant from my own home. If I plan on not living in the property than I leave this space blank.
