Built this to stop retyping the same vendor recommendations over and over

I’m a BiggerPockets member, and I built this because I got tired of solving the same small problem again and again.

I kept finding myself retyping or rebuilding the same lists of recommended contacts for different people. Sometimes it was a contractor list. Sometimes it was a lender, inspector, cleaner, handyman, insurance contact, or other go-to person. The names were already in my phone, but actually organizing them into a useful shareable group made me dread giving a recommendation even though I wanted to.

So I built RecDeck.

RecDeck lets you create reusable groups of trusted contacts and share the right group when someone asks. Instead of manually piecing together the same recommendations over and over, you can save a curated list once and send it again when needed.

My "day job" is in television and film, but I also use it for my property deals. Works great for all, but especially:

  • • property managers sharing preferred vendors
  • • landlords keeping a ready-to-send maintenance list
  • • agents sharing lenders, inspectors, title reps, and contractors
  • • investors passing along local resources to partners, tenants, or clients

A few examples of how it could be used:

  • “Preferred plumbers, electricians, and HVAC”
  • “Turnover and make-ready crew”
  • “My go-to real estate contacts”
  • “New owner resource list”
  • “Emergency maintenance contacts”

This is not a property management platform or CRM. It solves one specific problem: making it faster and easier to share a curated set of useful contacts.

Full disclosure: Not only am I a user, I'm also the creator ;-) That's also why I'm posting in the Classifieds!

If that pain sounds familiar, here’s the link. Hope it helps!
