Cutting A/C to sweat out a squatter?

Anybody have any luck with it? I have a squatter that slid into one of my units as my previous tenant broke lease and left town. Im sure they were friends. They used a fake lease to get utilities set up, changed the locks, and wont answer the door but I know they are in there. My A/C units are in a fenced off cage so Im thinking I might cut the power and sweat them out in the Texas heat. Im hoping they wont know it was done on purpose and they will leave peacefully. I assume somebody that would go to that extent to work the system would take joy in wrecking the place if they knew I was turning the screws to them. Lucky me I just did a light remodel on the place 6 months ago. Sound like a good idea?

Anybody have any experience with squatters in Texas? I called the police department but they said they wouldnt touch it as trespassing unless I could prove they actually broke in. They said I had to talk to the constables office but I assume they are closed until Monday.

Why not break into the house when they're not there, remove all their stuff and then change the locks on them. Then set up a security camera, and if they come back and break in, have them arrested for B&E, theft, DOP, etc.

This assumes they have no evidence that they have any legal right to be there.
