Hey ya'll. I'm 38, no kids, and am finally looking for the financial freedom to stop working to fulfill someone else's dream and start working on my own. Currently I am trying to pay down credit cards and clean up my credit. I'm one of those people that when given a goal, I can grind it out until the goal is achieved. I'm not so creative, but I can definitely put my nose to the grindwheel.
I'm ready to work, however now I only have nights and weekends, but am willing to use them to accomplish this lifestyle.
Hey Jack, glad to have you here! Any idea what part of investing interests you the most?
I think my goal for now is sfh buy and hold. Brrrr when I can and continue to build until i can quit my job. Probably focusing on b and c areas until I can use the equity to get into a class or maybe apt complexes.

Mostly just saving up money and meeting people. I found a duplex out in colombia sc that calculated out to cash flow, but coming up with the money seemed to be my hurdle.
Hi guys, I wanted to jump in on the conversation. I'm also originally from GA and looking to invest there somewhere outside of ATL. I don't have a big downpayment and I think I'm limited in what I can do with banks and other creative methods of getting started due to living overseas. I'm interested in partnerships, mentorships and just connecting with other investors. I generally come home once a year so looking forward to the holiday period when I can be closer to the 'action' for a couple weeks while visiting family.
